You do not need to open and check each and every email that you receive from a directory. However, if the subject line of an email indicates a link to be confirmed, reading: 'Click to Confirm', 'Click on Link', 'Confirm Request', or anything similar, it would be better to open the mails and follow the directions stated therein. If the subject line states 'Submission Received' or 'Listing Successful', it is not necessary to open these emails unless you want to verify the details entered or the category selected.
