You can safely ignore the requests for reciprocal links. This will not in any way, reduce the chances of your site's being approved. In some emails it is mentioned that a reciprocal link is much appreciated. However, it is not necessary to do so. Directory Maximizer submits only to those directories that provide one-way links. If you feel that some directories require reciprocal linking, do let us know, so that we can check on the same.
